Anthony Young

Co-CEO

Anthony commenced his full time cyber security career in 2003. He worked as a security consultant primarily within the UK's central government and the gaming industry where he reduced cyber risk by establishing security frameworks and management systems. He is a BS7799/ISO27001 Lead Auditor with a number of certifications from CESG. In 2008 Anthony underwent a change of career when he joined a leading corporate governance recruitment firm and established their Information Security contract division. He quickly discovered a passion for working closely with the C level in large enterprises finding solutions to their short and long term cyber security resource needs. He gained a well earned reputation for building out interim highly skilled cyber teams in short timescales. As data breaches became commonplace, Cyber Security moved up the corporate agenda and the demand for trusted and skilled security professionals increased. This demand encapsulated both short consulting engagements as well as long term solutions. In response Bridewell was established in 2013 to build off this reputation and create a best in class cyber security services company that could meet the growing demand. Fast forward to 2022 and Bridewell is now known across the UK as one of the leading end to end cyber security services companies, covering advisory, assurance, engineering, pen testing and managed services. Anthony has established and worked across Bridewell's sales, marketing and finance divisions as the company was scaling, his focus in now on continuing to drive the company's strategy which includes further international expansion and continued growth.
