Semperis, a leader in AI-powered identity security and cyber resilience, recently welcomed industry veteran Gerry Sillars to the role of Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan, where he will continue to lead the company’s regional expansion.

Based in Singapore, Sillars is leading Semperis’ aggressive growth strategy across Asia Pacific and Japan. In 2024, Semperis experienced triple-digit revenue and pipeline to facilitate its rapid expansion across APAC. Semperis has signed distribution agreements across major Southeast Asian countries, India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, effectively growing partnerships by over 100 per cent.

Sillars has over 20 years of experience in building and scaling software businesses in APJ. Before joining Semperis, he played vital roles as Vice President in Commvault Systems, Alcatel Lucent, UpGuard, and Fortanix.

As part of its rapid growth trajectory, Semperis recently reached a significant milestone, surpassing $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), an achievement that fewer than 1 in every 1,000 enterprise software companies attain. This achievement highlights the company’s increasing impact in the cybersecurity space, fueled by Semperis’ comprehensive solutions, which help enterprises combat the increasing threat of identity-based attacks in Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
