About Gerry Power
Prior to leading Cowbell Australia, Gerry held senior leadership roles with Emergence Insurance, CGU, AMP and Dexta Corporation/Stardex Insurance Group. As Head of Sales at Emergence, he helped grow the business into one of Australia’s leading specialist cyber underwriting agencies. At CGU, he led its entry into the Australian cyber insurance market as Senior Underwriter and Cyber Subject Matter Expert, underwriting professional lines including cyber, professional indemnity, management liability and directors’ and officers’ liability.
Earlier in his career, Gerry held senior executive and shareholder roles with Dexta/Stardex, where he helped develop one of Australia’s first fully automated online technology insurance platforms. He also led AMP’s entry into the directors’ and officers’ liability market as Head of D&O for Australia and New Zealand.
