In his new role, Desai will lead Tanium’s strategy across Southeast Asia, working closely with customers and partners to help organisations gain real time visibility and control across today’s complex IT environments.

The appointment comes at a time when enterprises across ASEAN are fighting with expanding attack surfaces and rising operational complexity, challenges Tanium says its platform is built to address.

Desai pointed to three factors that drew him to the company:

  • A platform designed for modern security operations, delivering real time endpoint visibility and control at scale
  • A culture of continuous innovation to stay ahead of shifting cyber threats
  • A global team and partner ecosystem positioned to drive regional growth

Tanium is reinforcing its standing in the endpoint management market as organisations look for ways to eliminate blind spots across sprawling infrastructures.

Desai said the opportunity ahead in ASEAN is particularly compelling.

“Across markets, organisations face the same challenge, gaining real operational truth in highly complex environments,” he noted. “I’m energised to work alongside our customers and partners to strengthen resilience, build deeper trust, and turn uncertainty into confident action.”

With transformation accelerating across Southeast Asia, Desai’s appointment positions Tanium to deepen customer engagement and expand its regional footprint as demand for unified endpoint visibility and control continues to surge.

Desai added he is looking forward to building the ASEAN region “to greater heights” alongside Tanium’s customers, partners and broader global team.
