Cloud and Unified Security Demand Fuels PMT Growth Across ANZ

Rising demand for cloud-enabled surveillance, operational resilience and integrated security platforms is driving significant growth for PMT Security Systems as organisations across Australia and New Zealand modernise security operations.

The company has recently secured a series of major industry awards recognising its growing role in delivering large-scale unified security deployments across critical industries.

At Genetec’s partner summit in Danang, PMT was named both Cloud Partner of the Year and Unified Partner of the Year for ANZ, recognising the company’s expertise in deploying advanced, integrated security ecosystems.

The recognition comes as enterprises increasingly prioritise real-time situational awareness, cloud scalability and operational resilience in response to evolving security and compliance requirements.

PMT has expanded rapidly across sectors including data centres, retail, commercial property and critical infrastructure, where demand for integrated surveillance and real-time alerting technologies continues to rise.

The company’s recent growth has also been recognised by Axis Communications, which awarded PMT both Australian Partner of the Year and Queensland Partner of the Year.

PMT said its approach focuses on combining surveillance, communications and emerging technologies into unified platforms capable of supporting increasingly sophisticated security and operational requirements.

The company maintains strategic partnerships with several leading global vendors, including Genetec, Axis Communications, Hanwha Vision and Milestone Systems.

These partnerships allow PMT to build flexible, multi-vendor environments rather than relying on single-platform deployments, helping customers adapt to changing operational and compliance needs.

Chief executive Adrian Smith said the market was rapidly shifting away from standalone security infrastructure towards intelligent and connected ecosystems.

“Success is no longer just about hardware on-site, it’s about intelligent, integrated and tailored solutions that deliver real-time visibility, scalability and resilience,” Smith said.
“Our partnerships with the likes of Genetec, Axis, Milestone Systems and our broader ecosystem of the best global technology leaders enables us to deliver exactly that.”

Managing director Darren Taylor said enterprise customers increasingly expect security partners to deliver not only technology integration, but also strategic expertise and operational reliability.

“These awards are ultimately a reflection of our people and our customers,” Taylor said.

PMT’s recent expansion includes two multi-million-dollar data centre deployments announced earlier this year, underscoring the increasing demand for resilient and cloud-driven surveillance technologies in mission-critical environments.

As organisations continue investing in preventative security, operational intelligence and compliance-driven infrastructure, the company expects demand for unified security ecosystems to continue accelerating across the region.
