(“Genetec”), the global leader in enterprise physical security software, has announced that the High Commissioner of Canada to Australia, Her Excellency Julie Sunday, visited the Genetec Sydney Experience Centre on 15 April to commemorate two years since its official launch.
The Genetec Experience Centre is located within Sydney’s Tech Central precinct at 477 Pitt Street and features innovative solutions from Genetec and its large ecosystem of industry-leading technology partners. These include video management, access control, license plate recognition, security and communications management, and secure cloud services.
At the same time, the facility serves as a hub for Genetec partners and customers located in the region and complements the company’s additional Experience Centres located in in Montreal, Paris, London, Mexico City, Washington D.C., Dubai, and Singapore.

The Genetec Sydney Experience Centre operates as a fully functioning Security Operations Centre and includes an Internet of Things (IoT) wall, providing an immersive experience for customers in any industry to see how Genetec solutions can directly enhance their security and operations.
Additional features include a dedicated training centre ensuring customer and partner teams are equipped to address their physical security challenges and a modern workspace to accommodate the fast-growing Genetec Oceania team.
Since its launch two years ago, hundreds of industry executives and partners have visited the centre experiencing the best of breed physical security technologies on offer from Genetec. In addition to a range of industry networking functions and channel enablement sessions.
