KBI.Media Announces Season Two of Destination Cyber, with New Host Chaahat Baghla

Sydney, Australia – Oct 21st – KBI.Media is proud to announce the launch of Destination Cyber: Season Two, featuring new host Chaahat Baghla, a rising cybersecurity voice and final-year student at Macquarie University, where she is completing a Bachelor of Cybersecurity.

Baghla brings a student’s perspective and professional curiosity to the platform, reshaping Destination Cyber into a space for those seeking to explore the real-world opportunities and challenges of the cybersecurity landscape.

“There are many students who are just like me, who don’t know what’s available in the industry,” Baghla said. “We know a little from university coursework, but it doesn’t cover everything that’s actually happening in the field. Destination Cyber aims to bridge that gap and help students decide which path excites them most.”

The opportunity arose after Baghla spoke with KBI.Media Founder, Karissa Breen, at a Cyber Neighbourhood event. Having first met Breen during a guest lecture at university, Baghla later expressed an eagerness to work on real cybersecurity projects. That conversation sparked the relaunch of Destination Cyber, with Breen inviting her to take creative control of the series.

Season Two will feature 13 fortnightly episodes, each exploring a distinct domain within cybersecurity. Through candid conversations with industry leaders, the series will offer practical guidance for students, graduates, and early-career professionals navigating their first steps into the field.

“My vision for Destination Cyber is to create a place where students can listen to people actually working in the sector, understand what their day-to-day looks like, and discover which roles or disciplines resonate with them most,” Baghla explained.

KBI.Media has plans to expand the Destination Cyber ecosystem by partnering with universities and education providers, encouraging students to engage directly by submitting questions for future guests.

Baghla described the process of preparing and recording the new season as both “humbling and exhilarating”, crediting Breen and the wider KBI.Media team for their mentorship and support.

“I’ve learnt so much—from managing interviews to keeping a conversational tone,” she said. “It’s been a steep learning curve, but one I’m grateful for.”

Season Two of Destination Cyber is now in production, with the first episode already released.
