LaunchDarkly has newly appointed Allan Wang as Sales Director for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) as enterprises move faster towards AI adoption and look for tighter control over software delivery.
Wang joins from Commvault, where he worked with large enterprises on data resilience and governance initiatives over the last 5+ years.
“Commvault gave me the opportunity to work with some of the world’s largest enterprises around data resilience and governance at massive scale,” Wang said.
“What attracted me to LaunchDarkly is the opportunity to move closer to the application development lifecycle, where AI-driven innovation is happening in real time.”
The appointment comes as organisations are continuously facing growing pressure to release software faster and faster, whilst maintaining operational stability and governance as AI reshapes the application development space.
“As software delivery accelerates, feature management and controlled experimentation are becoming foundational capabilities for every modern enterprise,” Wang said.
“We’re entering a period where AI is fundamentally reshaping how applications are built, deployed, and optimised,” Wang said.
