2020Partners Kicks Off Dialogue In Australia

Sydney, Australia โ€“ 2020Partners kicks off its inaugural Advanced Technology Dialogue in Sydney and Canberra, with support from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) and our media partner, KBI.Media. This initiative aims to facilitate greater connections between Australia, United Kingdom and the United States on mission critical technology innovation under AUKUS Pillar2.

The AUKUS Advanced Technology Dialogue is set to bring together industry leaders, government officials, and private sector executives to share insights and strategies for managing strategic security challenges. This three-day event will serve as a platform for knowledge for exchange and collaboration, aiming to identify our shared technology future and what we need to do now to best defend ourselves and take advantage of innovation and the opportunities being created in the private sector.

Greg Sim, Partner from 2020Partners commented,

โ€œIโ€™m delighted to lead this Dialogue in Australia. Our approach has been successful in the United Kingdom and the United States of America and weโ€™ve always wanted to do the same for Australia.โ€

Sim continued,

โ€œWe want to showcase whatโ€™s out there in terms of innovation by small to medium enterprises and ask the hard questions about how weโ€™re realistically going to draw on these capabilities to strengthen our collective security posture. Weโ€™re thrilled to be doing that at ASPI with government and industry partners.โ€

Sim went on to say,

โ€œWe believe this event demonstrates how we can come together in a trusted environment where the idea is to bridge the divide between what we think we know and what we actually know.โ€
