Terms and Conditions – Start-up Spotlight

TMFE Pty Ltd, Trading As KBI (ABN 99 623 495 723) is the publisher of https://KBI.Media  and its associated subscriber email (“us, our, we”), as well as innumerable online publications and social media platforms.

 

1. Eligibility:

1.1. The Cybersecurity Start-up Campaign (the “Campaign”) is open to cybersecurity start-up organisations (the “Participants”) operating from anywhere inside Australia, wholly owned by an organisation registered in Australia.

1.2. To be eligible, Participants must:

  • Be a legally registered business entity with their headquarters based in any Australian State or Territory
  • Be in the field of cybersecurity
  • Have been operating as a business for less than five (5) years
  • Have annual gross revenue under AUD 10m
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws

 

2. Campaign Period:

2.1. The Campaign will begin on December 1st, 2023 and run indefinitely, with periodic acknowledgement of ‘Most Innovative’ entries selected for additional promotion.

 

3. How to Enter:

3.1. To enter the Promotion, Participants must:

  • Complete the official entry form as provided by the Campaign organisers.
  • Submit all required information accurately and truthfully

 

4. Entry Selection:

4.1. A voting form will be made available every quarter designed to tally votes of 

4.2. The winner will be selected based on the Criteria as described in the support materials 

 

5. Notification:

5.1. The winner will be notified via email or other contact information provided in the entry form

 

6. Publicity:

6.1. By participating in the Promotion, Participants agree to allow their names and likenesses to be used for promotional and marketing purposes

 

7. General Conditions:

7.1. The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements in New South Wales, Australia.

7.2. The Promotion organisers reserve the right to disqualify any Participant found to be in violation of these Terms & Conditions

7.3. The Promotion organisers are not responsible for any technical problems or issues that may affect the submission or selection process

 

8. Limitation of Liability:

8.1. The Promotion organisers shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or injuries incurred as a result of participating in the Promotion or from any other adjacent activity(s).

 

9. Governing Law:

9.1. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
