Qualys, the cybersecurity vulnerability management company, has recently appointed Sam Salehi to be the new Managing Director for Australia & New Zealand.
Previously, Salehi was a Sales Director in the Asia Pacific region at Trustwave, which fostered the commercial experience, relationships, and nuanced understanding of the region to take into his new role.
Salehi will be leading Qualysโ operations in the Australian and New Zealand market. The Directorโs remit will be to focus on growth, managing channel partners, and delivering sustainable customer experiences. Salehi points out the immediate opportunity for Qualys in the region which consists of considering the Essential 8 requirements for their customers. The overall approach is to help customers comply with this framework within a collaborative โecosystemโ approach, leveraging cloud and patch management solutions.
