Proofpoint, Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, today announced that George Lee has been appointed Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). In his new role, George will assume a pivotal role within the global sales organisation and lead the companyโs growth strategy across the APJ theatre, based out of Singapore.
George has over 20 years of expertise in regional sales and operations in the IT and cybersecurity space, where he has scaled businesses, expanded into key growth markets, and developed new strategic initiatives. His wealth of technology experience includes governance, risk and compliance management, identity management, network security including extended detection and response (XDR) as well as data and application security.

George joins Proofpoint from Imperva, where he most recently held the role of Senior Vice President, APJ. Prior to that, George also held senior leadership positions at RSA, EMC, and Avanade.
