“NetApp is committed to prioritising our cloud storage offerings, integrating them alongside other services to facilitate the seamless deployment of workloads in the public cloud area.” Kurian stated.
This signals a strong push towards providing customers with cloud storage solutions intertwined with other cloud-based services.
It was made apparent from our discussions that NetApp already has a keen interest and extensive engagement with diverse partners, and a desire to focus on expanding into the AI space through collaborations with leading technology companies.
“We’ve seen tremendous excitement and interest from our partners in our portfolio, especially in areas like cyber and AI.” noted Kurian.
With a multifaceted approach to partner engagement, NetApp has onboarded a variety of partners, including traditional and cloud consulting partners, aiming to capitalise on market coverage and expertise.
“We deal with various types of partners, from MSIs and Federal suppliers to Leidos, Lockheed Martin Australia, NTT, and Fujitsu.” added Matthew Hurford, Managing Director ANZ from NetApp.
Furthermore, NetApp is making strides in the cybersecurity space, expanding on its investments in securing data. Kurian highlighted the company’s dedication to creating a truly secure infrastructure, stating,
“We have developed a secure stack with Cisco to deploy a fully secure FlexPod.” This stands as a testament to NetApp’s commitment to providing top-tier cybersecurity solutions integrated within their infrastructure offerings.
It was mentioned that NetApp’s efforts to navigate challenges associated with the forever changing cloud landscapes and Government expectations. The CEO acknowledged the importance of addressing data sovereignty and localisation concerns, particularly in relation to the company’s collaboration with the Federal Government. Kurian went on to say,
