Macquarie Technology Group, Macquarie University Partner to Develop Research and Learning Pathways

Macquarie Technology Group (ASX: MAQ) and Macquarie University today announced a strategic partnership to support future collaboration across research, technology and innovation.

The agreement establishes a framework for the two organisations to collaborate in areas including cloud computing, cyber security, data centre engineering, and technology policy.

Co-located in the Macquarie Park Innovation District, the partnership reflects the deepening engagement between industry and academia and identify areas where shared expertise can contribute to Australia’s future digital capability and the creation of technology job pathways.

The collaboration will explore opportunities for joint research, industry engagement and knowledge exchange, drawing on Macquarie Technology Group’s experience in data centres, cloud, cyber security and telecommunications, and Macquarie University’s research strengths across science, technology, engineering, business and law.
