Konica Minolta Australia and CoreData surveyed 200 IT decision-makers across Australia in April 2024, capturing the strategic priorities and emerging technologies shaping the landscape. The report reveals the pace of digital transformation across Australian businesses, highlighting the increased adoption of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud solutions. It also uncovers a growing emphasis on data protection and information security as organisations strive to stay competitive, reflecting a global trend towards robust regulatory compliance and cybersecurity measures.

- Improving operational efficiency is the top priority for 68 per cent of C-suite executives
- C-suite executives are focused on profitability (71 per cent) and risk mitigation (68 per cent)
- Microsoft 365 is the most widely used IT tool, with a 73 per cent adoption rate and 82 per cent satisfaction score
- Top priorities for investment include cloud solutions (60 per cent) and AI-driven applications (50 per cent)
- Almost half of respondents engage with MSPs for IT consulting and strategy (49 per cent), as well as IT support and helpdesk services (49 per cent).
