Fortinet Australia Appoints John Milionis As Its New Channel Sales Director

John is an experienced strategic leader, focused on achieving great outcomes for Fortinet channel partners and customers alike while shaping a community that is dedicated to securing its borders against the evolving threat landscape.

John is a seasoned executive leader with a robust track record and more than 20 years of demonstrated success in driving strategic partnerships and business development in the technology sector. His expertise lies in supporting strategic channel development and growth, where he has consistently demonstrated an ability to grasp industry dynamics and forge strong relationships with key stakeholders.

John has significant experience operating in senior channel roles for start-ups and established enterprises alike across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region and more broadly to support Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) operations. Most recently, he was the director, head of channels and alliances for ANZ at Zscaler. Prior to this, John was the enterprise channel director for ANZ at Forcepoint, and the channel director for APJ at Riverbed Technology. His professional journey is marked by a deep understanding of complex and fast-moving environments, where he has excelled in roles that require high-level strategic thinking and execution.

John holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and a Postgraduate Degree in Applied Finance and Economics from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
