Forescout Achieves IRAP Certification

Forescout has today announced it has completed the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment at Protected level for its cloud security platform.

This milestone underscores Forescoutโ€™s commitment to delivering industry-leading cybersecurity solutions that are designed to meet the highest standards of data protection and compliance in Australia.

The IRAP assessment provides federal government agencies assurance that Forescout has been evaluated to operate to Protected level in a secure cloud platform environment, a key requirement for government agencies adopting cloud-hosted solutions.

โ€œReceiving IRAP accreditation reinforces our ability and commitment to achieving the highest security and compliance standards in Australia, as we already do as the partner of choice, trusted to secure the world’s largest organisations.โ€ said Barry Mainz, CEO of Forescout.

IRAP assessments ensure that systems, services, and infrastructure meet the stringent security requirements set by the Australian Cyber Security Centre. This provides a high level of confidence that sensitive and classified data is appropriately protected.

Colin Garro, Country Manager, ANZ at Forescout said: โ€œWith the successful completion of our IRAP assessment at the Protected level, we are proud to extend our expertise and solutions even further to support the continued protection of Australiaโ€™s public sector and critical infrastructure providers against the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape.โ€

โ€œAs more Australian government agencies and organisations adopt a cloud-first strategy and begin embracing AI capabilities, their attack surface expands, making it more crucial than ever to pair these advancements with a robust cybersecurity strategy.โ€
