Commvault and Deloitte Join Forces to Boost Cyber Resilience and Incident Response

Commvault, a global leader in cyber resilience and data protection for hybrid cloud environments, has announced a strategic alliance with Deloitte aimed at enhancing enterprise cyber resilience and incident response capabilities.

The partnership comes as organisations face growing pressure to adapt to a fast-evolving threat landscape. According to Deloitte Global’s Future of Cyber 4th edition survey, 43% of U.S. respondents identified keeping pace with cyber threats as one of their top strategic challenges.

Through this new alliance, Commvault’s cyber resilience technology will be combined with Deloitte’s extensive cyber defence and response services to deliver end-to-end threat management. The joint offering will span the full lifecycle of a cyber incident — from prevention to rapid recovery — helping organisations safeguard critical assets and maintain business continuity.

Three-Stage Cyber Resilience Framework

The Commvault-Deloitte partnership focuses on a three-stage approach to cyber resilience:

  • Before an Attack: The two companies will help clients define their “minimum viability” — the essential applications, processes, and personnel needed to sustain operations. Commvault’s Cleanroom Recovery technology enables organisations to test and validate recovery plans before an attack strikes.
  • During an Attack: Deloitte’s cyber risk services, paired with Commvault’s AI-powered anomaly detection, aim to quickly identify and contain threats before they escalate.
  • After an Attack: Post-incident, clients benefit from Deloitte’s response expertise and Commvault’s cloud resilience technologies, including Cloud Rewind, Clumio Backtrack, and Cleanroom Recovery, to minimise downtime and support continuous operations.

Alan Atkinson, Chief Partner Officer at Commvault, called the alliance “a significant advancement in cyber resilience,” noting that the combined offering creates “a formidable defence for our joint customers against today’s most sophisticated cyber threats.”

David Nowak, Principal at Deloitte & Touche LLP, added: “In an era where cyber threats are more pervasive than ever, our collaboration with Commvault aims to advance cyber resilience for our joint clients. Together, we are offering a strategic and broad solution that not only helps our clients fortify their defences but also helps with recovering from outages and cyberattacks.”

The alliance is built to scale alongside enterprise needs, delivering flexible and adaptive solutions rooted in deep industry experience. For more information, visit: www.commvault.com/deloitte.
