KBI.Media Heads to New York to Cover Datadog DASH 2026

ORLANDO, FLORIDA, 3 June 2026. KBI.Media, the cybersecurity media organisation, will be on the ground at DASH 2026, Datadog’s annual observability and AI conference, in New York City on 9 and 10 June. The team is travelling to produce editorial coverage and a series of filmed sit-down interviews with the people building the platform and the practitioners putting it to work.

DASH has grown into one of the larger gatherings in the observability calendar, and this year the agenda leans hard into artificial intelligence. Datadog (NASDAQ: DDOG) is expecting several thousand attendees across two days of keynotes, workshops, and technical sessions, with the opening keynote set for the morning of 9 June. For a publication whose audience sits where security meets engineering, the timing is difficult to ignore. The question DASH keeps circling, namely how teams run and secure AI systems in production, is the same one landing on the desks of chief information security officers right now.

Across the two days, KBI.Media has confirmed interviews with Datadog co-founders Olivier Pomel (CEO) and Alexis Lê-Quôc (CTO), Chief Product Officer Yanbing Li, Chief Information Security Officer Emilio Escobar, Vice President of Security Products Tim Knudsen, and Head of Security Advocacy Andrew Krug.. The slate widens beyond Datadog as well, taking in James Berthoty, founder of the analyst firm Latio Tech, and Nathan Pitchaikani, a senior security engineer at Riot Games. Between them they offer a view from the boardroom, the product roadmap, and the security operations floor.

“Getting into the room with the people building AI observability is the whole point of what we do at KBI. DASH puts Olivier Pomel, Alexis Lê-Quôc, and the team running Datadog’s security products under one roof, and we get to ask the questions our audience cares about. I have wanted to take KBKast onto a stage like this for a while. New York in June, with that line-up, feels like the right moment.” – Karissa Breen, Founder & Head of Journalism, KBI.Media.
She went on to say, “We are bringing the full production rig to New York, which means the coverage will carry the editorial quality our audience expects from KBI. Across two days we will sit down with Datadog’s founders, its Chief Product Officer, its security product leaders, and its CISO, alongside practitioners from customer teams including Riot Games. For our audience, that level of access is uncommon, and we plan to use every minute of it.”

The interviews will run across KBKast, KBI.Media’s flagship podcast, along with video and written coverage published through the organisation’s channels in the weeks following the event.
