13 March 2026 – Kinetic IT, a leading Australian-owned technology services partner, today announced Dean Langenbach as its new Chief Executive Officer to shape the company’s next phase of growth and drive technology-driven transformation.

The appointment underscores Kinetic IT’s continued momentum as it strengthens its position as the trusted sovereign technology partner for Australia’s government and critical infrastructure industries. Dean Langenbach brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in technology services, consulting, managed services, and enterprise solutions, with a proven track record in business transformation, national expansion, and operational integration.  Most recently, he served as CEO of NRI Australia & New Zealand, where he led a workforce of over 2,500 employees and delivered complex technology and consulting services to approximately 300 enterprise and government clients across the region. During his tenure, Dean led strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, and organisational transformation, strengthening the company’s position in highly regulated, technology-intensive markets.

Sarah Adam-Gedge, Chair of Kinetic IT, said, “The Board undertook a comprehensive search to identify a leader to guide the organisation through its next stage of evolution, while preserving its distinctly Australian identity.
“This appointment marks a defining moment in Kinetic IT’s journey. Over the last 12 months, the company has strengthened its national footprint, secured more than $600 million in major contracts, and maintained double-digit growth, setting the stage for an ambitious next chapter.

“As demand accelerates for AI-enabled and secure digital services, the Board sought a leader with the experience, strategic clarity, and commercial acumen to scale Kinetic IT at pace. Dean brings the right balance of commercial expertise, a deep understanding of complex technology environments and customer-centred delivery, alongside the proven ability to lead high-performing teams, pursue strategic growth investments, and deliver sustainable outcomes.  Supported by a strong leadership team, he is well placed to elevate Kinetic IT’s position among Australia’s technology leaders.”

Dean Langenbach said, “I’m energised by the opportunity to lead a uniquely Australian technology company at a time when sovereign capability and national resilience are critically important. With my Western Australian roots, I’ve seen the strength of Kinetic IT’s reputation for delivering meaningful outcomes, supported by a strong culture and talented teams. My focus is to build on this foundation by expanding our national presence, harnessing AI and advanced technology solutions, and deepening strategic partnerships to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
“Together, we will drive bold, sustainable growth that positions Kinetic IT at the forefront of technology innovation, while reinforcing Australia’s secure and resilient digital infrastructure.”

Dean Langenbach will be supported in his transition by Interim CEO Shane Quinn, who will assume a Chief Operating Officer role focused on delivery excellence and digital transformation for our customers.

The Board confirmed the appointment reflects a growth-driven evolution of Kinetic IT’s leadership structure, with no changes to current service delivery or customer arrangements. Kinetic IT remains privately owned and governed in Australia, with decision-making, security oversight, and operational capability retained locally.

The Board also acknowledged the significant contribution of former Chief Executive Officer, Michael North, whose decade of leadership helped establish Kinetic IT’s strong national reputation and culture of service excellence.

Dean Langenbach commenced as Chief Executive Officer on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
