Wavelink Expands SecOps Services to Partners Via SIEM-as-a-Service Offering

Wavelink, a leader in providing enterprise solutions to the channel, has announced the expansion of its services portfolio, starting with security operations (SecOps). The first service in the enhanced portfolio is the introduction of a security information and event management (SIEM)-as-a-Service offering, expanding the companyโ€™s reach to both existing and new partners across Australia and New Zealand.

The expanded SIEM service will be achieved by delivering Lumenir through Wavelinkโ€™s partnership with information technology and communications specialist, Laminar. Through this partnership, Wavelink will purchase Lumenir SIEM-as-a-Service offerings from Laminar, which will then execute the services on Wavelinkโ€™s behalf, acting as a service provider.

Ilan Rubin, chief executive officer, Wavelink, said, โ€œWavelink is committed to delivering advanced security options to its partners, which are crucial for organisations looking to strengthen their cybersecurity frameworks and mitigate the ever-increasing security risks of the rapidly evolving threat landscape.
โ€œIntegrating advanced SIEM-as-a-Service into its offerings lets Wavelinkโ€™s partners provide their customers with real-time monitoring and analysis of security alerts generated by their network hardware and applications, facilitating quicker identification of potential security threats. In addition to reducing the risk of significant breaches, their customers will also benefit from a more robust security posture that can adapt to the complexities of modern cybersecurity threats.โ€

Wavelinkโ€™s portfolio expansion is designed to help partners respond to the evolving security challenges faced by modern businesses and signifies its continued dedication to innovation and excellence in cybersecurity.

Ilan Rubin said, โ€œWavelink is strengthening its security offerings through continual growth and expansion of its services via strategic partnerships. By partnering with leading vendors and service providers, Wavelink can offer its partners a competitive edge in the security market. SIEM is just the start of new services that Wavelink is looking to bring to its partners to enhance their market position and fuel their growth.โ€

The Wavelink and Lumenir by Laminar partnership will officially launch with a series of roadshows across Australia in collaboration Fortinet. Event attendees can engage directly with Wavelink, Laminar, and Fortinet to see the expanded security solutions now available through Wavelink firsthand.
