Hank Clark is the Chief Strategy Officer at Australian cyber security business CSO Group where he leads the company's cyber strategy, innovation, and capability development plan.
A technology industry veteran with over 30 years of leadership experience in ICT and 25 years in IT security, Hank has vast expertise in cyber security, data strategy, business transformation, and digital risk. Hank collaborates closely with Chief Information Officers and senior executives in designing and executing secure digital transformation programs in a pragmatic manner that drives strategic outcomes, builds long-term capability and realises business value from technology investment.
Prior to CSO Group, Hank managed the Security Consulting and Account based security teams at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for Asia Pacific and Japan, the National Security Consulting practice at Oakton and the 90 East (now Verizon) Secure Gateway Environment (SGE). He has also held a number of roles within the Department of Defence relating to application development, infrastructure support and secure ICT services.
Hank is registered with the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Registered Assessors Program (I-RAP) and has experience in performing Gateway and ICT systems certification assessments against the relevant Australian Government security standards and ASD checklists.
Hank has a Bachelor of Information Technology degree from the University of Canberra. He holds several key certifications including the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
