Chris Rule is the General Manager – Defence, Security, and Resilience at GME, where he leads the company’s efforts to deliver advanced solutions for Australia’s defence and security sectors. Chris brings extensive leadership experience across both industry and the Australian Defence Force. Prior to joining GME, he was Vice President – Delivery at Elbit Systems of Australia, and also held senior roles at Indec Consulting (now Egis Oceania) and Cisco. His industry career builds on 27 years of service as an Army officer, during which he held command, engineering, program management, and diplomatic roles, alongside multiple operational deployments to the Middle East, Iraq, Afghanistan, and East Timor. Chris remains a Colonel in the Australian Army Reserve and continues to support the veteran and military community as a Non-Executive Director of the Certa Cito Foundation.
