You, as an authorised representative of The Company, confirm that it has invited, nominated, or otherwise arranged for certain executives, employees, contractors, representatives, clients, customers, partners, sponsors, guests, and other related participants to appear in recorded interviews, commentary, vox pops, panel-style discussions, or other filmed or audio-recorded content in connection with the Event.
The Company warrants that it has the full authority, right, and permission to provide this release on behalf of each participant it nominates or makes available for recording, including any external partner, client, customer, or third-party representative. The Company further warrants that each such participant has been informed that their contribution will be recorded on the record and may be edited, published, distributed, promoted, archived, and reused by KBI.Media and its related entities, contractors, production partners, clients, and distribution partners.
The Company grants, and confirms that each participant grants, KBI.Media a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to record, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, communicate, broadcast, distribute, exhibit, promote, and otherwise use each participant’s name, image, likeness, voice, biography, job title, company affiliation, statements, and recorded contribution in connection with the Event, the Company, KBI.Media’s editorial and commercial channels, social media, websites, newsletters, podcasts, video platforms, promotional materials, case studies, showreels, and related media.
The Company acknowledges that KBI.Media may edit the recorded material for clarity, length, format, sound quality, narrative flow, compliance, editorial suitability, and distribution requirements. KBI.Media will use reasonable care not to materially misrepresent a participant’s statements, role, or position. Unless expressly agreed in writing, participants and the Company will not have a right of approval over final edits, excerpts, captions, headlines, thumbnails, promotional cut-downs, or published versions.
The Company confirms that no participant will receive any fee, royalty, residual, approval right, or other compensation from KBI.Media for appearing in, or being included in, the recorded material, unless separately agreed in writing.
The Company is responsible for ensuring that all participants it nominates are authorised to speak on behalf of their own organisation, where applicable, and that their participation does not breach any confidentiality obligation, employment obligation, media policy, contractual restriction, intellectual property right, privacy obligation, or third-party right.
The Company must not nominate any person under the age of eighteen for recording unless this has been disclosed to KBI.Media in advance and appropriate written consent from a parent or legal guardian has been obtained.
The Company indemnifies KBI.Media against any reasonable loss, claim, complaint, cost, or liability arising from a participant later alleging that the Company did not have authority to provide this release, that the participant was not informed of the recording and intended use, or that their appearance breached an obligation owed by the Company or the participant to a third party.
KBI.Media is not obliged to record, publish, retain, or continue making available any content. KBI.Media may decline to publish, remove, edit, or withhold content at its discretion, including for editorial, legal, reputational, technical, or commercial reasons.
This release survives completion of the Event and any termination or expiry of the related agreement.
